The 2016-2017 Pennies for Patients Fundraiser is Over!

Pennies for Patients FundraiserOur Pennies for Patients campaign has come to an end, and we couldn’t be more proud of our generous students and families.  This year we have surpassed our goal and raised far more than we have any other year with a total of more than $6,000!!

**This year's winning class is Ms. Straehle's class, who raised $1,003.92!*

Congratulations to Ms. McVay's, Mr. Highfill's, Ms. Tucker's, Mrs. Schmalenberger's, and Ms. Freeman's classes who won Gold Champion Pennants this year by raising $300 or more. Outstanding job!

The classes who won Silver Champion Pennants by raising an amount in the $200 range were Mrs. Reichman's, Mrs. Banks/Sdun's, Ms. Franklin's (4th), and Mrs. Thomas'.  

Finally, Ms. Bricker's, Ms. Green's, Mrs. Azarov's, Mr. Salter's, Mrs. Grinager's, Ms. Michel's, Mrs. Rydell's, Mrs. Bouve's, Mrs. Lawrence's, Ms. Gallegos', Mrs. Torres/Wurtzer's, and Ms. Gibb's classes all earned Bronze Champion Pennants for raising an amount in the $100 range. 

Common Core Practice Test

Students in Grades 3 thru 8 will be taking the Smarter Balanced test for the first time starting at the end of April. The Smarter Balanced test is the new state test. If you would like to view and try the test, you may by clicking on the following link: Smarter Balance Practice Test  (if you have problems accessing the test, you may need to change your web browser). Follow the following steps:

1) Click "Sign In" (do not fill in any information)
2) Select "Grade Level"
3) Click "Yes"
4) Click on the test type you would like to take
5) Click "Select" (at the bottom)
6) Click "Yes, start my test" (at the bottom)
7) Click "Begin test now"

Notes: Do not fill in any other information than what is asked for above! You must respond to a question in order to go on. To exit the test - Click "Pause" (top right corner), click "yes", click "close secure browser" (top right)

Ridgepoint's Annual Spaghetti Dinner is Almost Here!


When: Wednesday, March 1st from 5:30 - 7 pm

Where: Ridgepoint's cafeteria

What will be served: Spaghetti w/ Homemade Sauce, salad, roll, drink

Cost: $5 per person

What types: You can dine-in or carry-out

Why Come: To help 5th grade raise money for field trips!
